We Love What We Get To Do

...and we've been doing it since 2017. CA turned entrepreneur, Our CEO left the bank to start a bakery. Our passion is found in sustainability and ethical business practices. We love food and food design. Most of all, we love the people who have, and continue to carry the brand.

Marlo's is a premium bakery and patisserie. Above all else, we value quality. Our promise is to use the finest ingredients in the making of our products. 

We are a division of Kafu Concepts, a food services holding company backed by a team of exceptional individuals in their respective fields.

Terms and Conditions:

  • All orders require a 48 hour lead time, therefore if an order is placed today, it will be guaranteed ready the day after tomorrow

  • All Deliveries are charged at a flat rate of R100, for addresses within 50 km radius of our Office address which is on the contact page. Marlo's will not deliver any orders beyond that 50 km radius. 

  • Because each day is unique and we can never predict what awaits us, we unfortunately can't guarantee delivery times. We understand that hours may turn to days when you’re waiting to make their day, so we ask for your patience with each delivery! 

  • Nothing lasts forever, not even a good deal! So, all of our prices and cost are subject to change and are valid while stocks last.

  • If you order for collection, your order will be ready by 11am on the day.

  • Our deliveries will take place from 9 am until 4 pm from Monday to Friday, from 9 am until 1 pm on Saturdays.  We will, however, try our best to prioritise business deliveries according to standard weekday business hours.

  • Orders made and paid online are not refundable. Please contact us should you need to cancel, & we will issue a credit note.

  • Once your product has been collected/delivered, we are not responsible for any damage incurred during transportation/setup/etc. Cakes are very heat-sensitive! If you are collecting, please have adequate space on a level surface. 

  • We are all about just being nice and love giving out vouchers! However we reserve the right to cancel orders placed if there has been misuse of a voucher or unsolicited voucher use.

  • To avoid any ‘orchid’ moments, please ensure that all recipient names and cake messages are spelt correctly. We will make messages and names exactly as provided by you and we want everything about your gift to be perfect!

  • With so many Jessicas, Pauls, Susans and Mphos in the world, please excuse us if you’re asked to send through a copy of your I.D and or credit card. This is just a security measure to make sure that nobody has stolen your identity.

  • Our products may contain allergens (e.g. milk, wheat, nuts, edible flowers, etc.) & we will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions to ingredients.

  • Because we’ve got to put pedal to the metal to ensure that your delivery is made on time, our drivers are only able to wait for the person receiving the product for a limited amount of time. If they leave the address the product will have to be collected from the Offices by the customer.

  • Products may differ slightly from the photos shown on the website or our other social media platforms.

  • Any complaints must be reported within 48 hours of your receiving your product. Complaints will be assessed but we cannot guarantee a full refund unless the product is returned to us in its original condition. Mx
